LABOR DAY WEEKEND

This weekend is going to be very exciting. One of my lifelong best friends and bridesmaids is getting married today in Chapel Hill. I have had to do many things around the house to get ready to be able to get going today. I will have pictures to post up here when I do return this evening but I really hope that everyone is as excited as I am. My parents are going to be going to the wedding as well and my best friend from growing up Erin Goodman Silver as well. Erin just recently got married last month. All my besties are growing up on me! I can't believe it.

When I get back tonight my sweet husband will be home from the App vs. ECU game at ECU. Pray that the Mountaineers win their opening season game! Woohoo go APPPPPPPPPPP!!!! I am truly an Appalachian fan now I guess since I attend some classes there and also Josh works there. I am glad to be though. Matt Daurelio is coming into town today to watch our doggies until we get back and to hang out with us for Labor Day weekend. We are hoping to go to the waterfalls tomorrow so that Matt can get to play around and enjoy something outside up here in the beautiful mountains.

At work this week I got to take care of the little ones in the infant room for just about 45 minutes. It was a fun time because it's always nice to have a break at the end of the day and hold a baby. I know that it's easy and calm to take care of them because they only need a few varying necessities- food, diaper changing, sleep, and love. It's so fascinating to watch them grow. I also have been presented with a new form of insurance that I believe we may try out starting very soon. It's Aflac's disability plan. Apparently it will pay for you to be out while you are on maternity leave in the future. Now it won't let you sign up for it once you are already pregnant. You have to plan in advance for this. I am excited because that would be great to be able to be paid for 6 months after having a child from my insurance company. Hopefully there won't be any strings attached in the process. I'll have to ask more questions before jumping on board of course. Does anybody have any thoughts on Aflac and their plans?
