Finally Springtime Weather

Here in Boone it has been a great adventure over these past winter months. I just can't believe that we have set a record in Boone for one of the snowiest winters especially in the months of December- February. I have heard that this area usually gets a lot of snow between the middle of February and the end of March. It is interesting how it all works out. Now that Spring has started to show it's face baseball season has also begun for Appalachian State. Josh has been getting busy with that. On top of record snowfalls in the area, Appalachian State beat a school record of the most consecutive wins at the beginning of a season. They are now 10-0 as of today. They are on the road for all of Spring Break. They are headed to Auburn to play tomorrow and then headed to Georgia the next day and staying there through the weekend for the weekend series of games. I sure hope that they come home winning all of the games. Lady and Maggie are still doing well and itching to get outside as more dogs are roaming the neighborhood and people are taking more walks. Work has been going well and my kids have been doing a great job using their listening ears and getting great art projects accomplished. I sure do love teaching preschool.
